This service offers a thorough mechanic review of grammar, punctuation, spelling, timeline consistency, transitional phrasing and overall sentence structure. I will address redundant and filler words, while also performing light fact-checking.

This service focuses on full storyline organization, continuity, and character development, including but not limited to: pacing and flow, plot and character consistencies, timeline consistencies, and structure and style true to the author’s brand and voice.

This service does not take the place of a line edit, copyedit or proofread, and should be the first step in your editing process.

Excessive Edit Fee for Proofreading:

Manuscripts with excessive errors (beyond 500 errors per 50K words) will be charged an additional $50.00 fee per every additional 500 errors.

Rush Fee:

Should you request a turnaround time of less than five days for a manuscript longer than 75,000 words, then I will add a $50.00 rush fee to the proofreading or editing fee.
