In the fall of 2018, I started my own proofreading business after building relationships with authors and PR companies. I currently edit and proofread for many best-selling authors, and absolutely love having the flexibility of working from home and supporting authors.

This service provides a detailed review of grammar, punctuation, spelling, typos, timeline consistency, capitalization/hyphens/numbers, tense issues, incorrect/repetitive use of words, and chapter heading consistencies.

 Copy Editing 

This service offers a thorough mechanic review of grammar, punctuation, spelling, timeline consistency, transitional phrasing and overall sentence structure. I will address redundant and filler words, while also performing light fact-checking.

Content Editing

This service reviews story structure, continuity, character development, and pacing, ensuring consistency and alignment with the author’s voice.
